Just to keep the posts understand able Ricco sent me a clip of the workers acting weird and I said it looked very much like insecticide/ pesticide poisoning. I've experienced this myself in the past.
You should post the video up here for everyone to see Ricco.
Makes everyone aware what it does to them.

Well guys it's new year with my colony 6/1/2016 and I've not checked on them for 3days and well last night I checked on them and they made a new small fungus garden again in the tank were I feed them but I moved the heat mat from the tank were I put leaves in and they moved it all back in the main nest tank but they not joined it with the main fungus they put it at the side and growing it up I wonder if when it gets big the join it to the main fugus well queen is in her chamber now with loads small workers on her looking after her and last night and this morning I saw small workers carrying small white pale things in there jaws I don't no if it's eggs or fungus but they are going deep in the fungus I hope the fungus start to grow like it did in spring and summer as not much cutting or anything so I've got give them an hand I've cut up privet and put it all over the fungus and the main leaves I put in the feeding tank and they using the feeding tank as trash as well which I'll have make new trash tank on top of the nest tank so they can put it there later to night am going put coco soil which keeps humdity and heat in but for now am busy packing as we moving house

12/01/2016 January new year ) Well guys there somthing worng I've think my thermo as broken but the temp so am going have try somthing out but the first thing is that the fungus is growing and the ants was so busy last night they cut all the rose leaves I put in there nothing left lol and now the queen is gone inside the fungus garden am not sure when I will see her now but I hope she's laying eggs but they loved all the brood inside of the fungus they are and with money bad now I'll have try sort it out best I can do I just don't no how the thermo has broken tho it's wired

but today is need more rose leaves lol I'll just put loads in I'll ask my neighbours today

Dont really know what to suggest with your thermostat, Ricc. Not really my field of expertise. Hopefully you will sort something out.

If its the thermometer I wouldn't worry at the moment, just don't adjust the thermostat as you will be in the dark as to what the temo is.
If the ants are happy just let them get on.

Well guys it was the thermo I got new one and the temp stays 24.5-25c max when it gets to 25 now green light goes out and now the workers are going crazy on the leaves and the fungus doubled in size tonight with loads rose leaves cutting so must be very happy again in the nest. And humdity is 90%

they love rose leaves more then privet lol

Well been snowing bad hear so I can't get more rose leaves lol but I hope no more snow but fungus is dark green were the privet leaves been cut

I can't wait till spring comes

If its snowing in your leaf cutting ant enclosure I dont think you've fixed your thermostat problem yet!

Lol Andrew they are fine they are all nice and warm with heating and food my temp is good 25c just that they not been cutting tho but eating grape I don't no what's up with them but I've cut up small bits of privet leaves on the fungus for them cut I don't no what else of leaves to feed them they gone of carbbage and roses what other leaves are good still but when we had snow the leaves in my garden all gone :( so I need help

Brussel sprouts, grapes, blueberries, sultanas, flaked almonds. You can feed non leaf stuff and see if they take it. Should be fine I think.
