Great photo Sean, the fungus look great, I like the little gathering of ants at the front admiring their handy work lol.

I broke the fungus up a bit yesterday and removed it from the entrance, stunning mass of brood in the centre! 20 hours later and you'd not notice, they've gone in to overdrive with privet but have abandoned rose leaves due the mildew on them!

Is it my eyes?
Or is that particular colony of Seans not housed in one of the pods! That looks a very unpod like pod there, Sean. Could there be a reason for this? Has this been already covered here in this thread and I've missed it? Or forgotten? Only thing I would say is if I made Porsche cars I'd probably drive a Porsche to show my customers how good they are. Or is that a new square pod model?

Maybe because he realised £60 for something that costs 5 is a little too much..Leafcutter wrote:Looks like the pods didn't last very long...Acromyrmexbob wrote:Is it my eyes?

We're only kidding, the pods look cool, but they're still very overpriced. And I don't have acro, I have atta, which are doing very well thanks ahah
Do your acro seem to like rose petal? My old Acromyrmex wouldn't touch it, but the atta love it...

One thing though, Ric is using Seans pods and they look amazing! I think hes onto his third. He has done so well and that was his second attempt also.
