Expensive ants!! What do they do that makes them so good. Leaf Cutters carry leaves, grow fungus, have colossal soldiers and live for decades. A queen for £100 must do something pretty spectacular!

(Claps hands), right where were we. You have to admit these are visually pretty looking ants, they are an aggressive species of ant who can use formic acid to attack and defence. They are pretty easy to keep (even a Welshman can keep them). The workers range in size from 8mm up to 14mm, meaning they have both Minor and Major workers. I believe I am the only person in the U.K selling these and you would be hard pushed to find them for sale in Europe. None of the large German stores have them for sale.

Apart from that, yeah Leaf cutters are cool if you like having fungus in your home ;)
