My go at the new quantitative system. Have to say it's a lot more difficult than just writing it out in full .
At.ceph.mq2000+.maj.5(5F15)(5F15)(5F15)(5F15)(5F15).G
At.ceph.mq2000+.maj.5(5F15)(5F15)(5F15)(5F15)(5F15).G

If it helps, I got the information quicker than reading a sentence with all the info in! I thought the baubles where 12 cm so shouldn't they F12's?

Re: SELLING: Large Atta cephalotes colony
In order to keep things recognisable I was trying to keep the sizes in fixed categories. Dont know if its better to put exact size down or use the category the size of the fungus is in. Thoughts?Britishants.com wrote:If it helps, I got the information quicker than reading a sentence with all the info in! I thought the baubles where 12 cm so shouldn't they F12's?

Re: SELLING: Large Atta cephalotes colony
Maybe, in order to prevent having to write the same size over and over, it might be good to assume that if there is only one size, it relates to all gardens?Leafcutter wrote:My go at the new quantitative system. Have to say it's a lot more difficult than just writing it out in full .
At.ceph.mq2000+.maj.5(5F15)(5F15)(5F15)(5F15)(5F15).G
So this would then be.....
At.ceph.mq2000+.maj.5(5F15).G
Says the same thing but quicker. I think it only takes time because we have to become familiar with the system. we should make any changes to it just now so it becomes standardised and we can introduce this, or something similar, as a standard notation.

Re: SELLING: Large Atta cephalotes colony
The category was 5-15cm and the fungus is also growing in a cylinder now. Maybe (5F15)^5 .Leafcutter wrote:My go at the new quantitative system. Have to say it's a lot more difficult than just writing it out in full .
