This is a set up for the clinical design lovers amongst us. It's very simple but very effective, bit of a futuristic look in my opinion. Seen this photo a few times and love it.



On my mobile the foraging tank is cut out, not sure if its the same here.

I've got a few points to make about this setup.
Firstly, wow! Good find, I have not seen this before. Very nice. Mr Jamie 'Public Setup' Deansie!
Secondly, typical German setup. Clinical, clean, surgical.
Nest tank, dump chamber, feed station.
The fingus tank is giving me difficulty. It is not natural for the ants to build their fungus in a wide open space such as that. I do not understand why it would be set up like this. Why not subdivide the tank into smaller 'cells' so they can separate the gardens and exhibit more natural behaviour. Just a personal reflection. Anyway, the look great. Noce job!

I get what your saying, not very natural for them to be open like that but then again if the fungus requirements are perfect -temp, humidity etc what is natural with what we do with them really?, especially with the clinical design.
I can only assume they are going for the initial visual impact as I think it does pack a punch.

I'm under pressure now to come up with exhibits now! Lol

I think at least several per day. Its all on your shoulders now. Thing is phase two of this process is to contact each of them and mention that their display is on a thread and invote them to join and comment. That way we get professional keepers and a whole new set of ideas. We are getting there.

I wonder how they deal with climate control?

Maybe if Jamie can get them on the forum we can ask?

By the look of the condensation on the glass of the nest tank it is obvious that they do not have a heated room but most probably have a heat mat in the tank which is higher temperature than the outside.

This is the issue I could see happening with set ups that are kept only on a heat mats. Even in the pipe work, if you have a few fungus gardens on heat mats connected via pipes that are not over heat, the warm air will condense in the cooler pipe. Another one I've experienced in the past myself ha ha
