Cant remember if I posted this here but I am now scheduled to return to South Korea sometime on the next while to help relocate the colonies into their public display. Will be great to see them again and get more pics!

Re: Leaf Cutting Ants in South Korea
Just got some new pictures of the setup I worked on in October in South Korea.
The biggest two colonies have now been moved on public display.....
I think the display is one of the best I have ever seen. In fact all 8 colonies that I took to South Korea, 4 Atta and 4 Acromyrmex, have survived and thrived. A real stunning achievement.

The entrance way to the exhibit has had a new sculpture added which shows the attention to detail that the staff at the Institute of Ecology in South Korea have. It looks amazing!
and....
me and my really good pal, Chae Eun, who is responsible for looking after the ants. Chae Eun worked with me during my time on South Korea. You might notice I am clean shaved and tidy in this picture. I had to change my normally slovenly appearance whilst there because I did not think it was respectful to be unshaved and dressed down. Different culture, different ways!

Amazing, best I've ever seen by far but the real measure is you saying that with 20 plus years in the field.
