So the Leaf Cutting ant display has grown so very well. Firstly the thing to say is that they have managed to keep all 8 of the colonies thriving!! No losses. Amazing.
Secondly they have all 4 of the Atta colonies on public display. I do not know of any other facility in the world that has 4 large attas on display!

You might not see this very clearly but there were a lot of ants in this walkways
and a load of ants in all of the 4 feeding tanks:
The nest area was filled with fungus, each nest has three very large fungus gardens.
All in all a very pleasing return to this exhibit. Everything is done so well and precisely.
