Atta accepted first plants!
Hello, just wanted to share my Atta colony that accepted their first plants.

Atta sexdens queen seems to be dark red with tan coloured lobes on top of head which is distinct from A cephalotes which are more uniform. Colony seems to be doing well. What leaves were you giving them there?

They are accepting mainly Hibiscus "Snow Green". Here's another video.

They look good and do you know what the leaf with the fronds is? It looks like what Andrew feeds his ants on in Trinidad viewtopic.php?f=14&t=908

I don't know the name, it's used to make hedges here. They accepted it once but they prefer the Hibiscus.
