These are just some of the feeding bridges I use in my moat set up, can be used for the ants to get from one side to other and of coarse they can help themselves to the leaves, until recently I was lucky enough to work for a local aquatics and water gardens shop so had plenty of plants I could trial to see if they would grow in soil, my supplier from Holland assured me no pesticides or chemicals where used to grow the plants just ferts...most of the plants where cutting from mother plants...

I think it's a great idea, could make the tank look very natural at the same time.

I like it. Ironically we spend most of our time trying to find leaves that the ants like. For this task you are trying to plant species with leaves the ants do not like. Something messed up there!

Just make sure you do your research on the plants, don't use any from garden centres or supermarkets buy from specialist suppliers...

Yes it's true they will only occasionally take a cutting from the plants but if I put and amerhylis in with them they go mad for it. ignore the gecko only pic I had of the plant..

Not sure how to tell you this but did you notice that your Amaryllis has a bad gecko infestation. I think they suck the sap from the stems. You can get a spray but if you are very nice, I am prepared to come round and remove it for you!!

you can try and remove him but he's now even bigger and nasty, make sure you where gloves.

I used to have a room where I kept anoles from South America, no where near as big but very beautiful.

Thats the trouble with infestations like that. If you dont spray them early enough they get out of control. You need to look after your plants better, pull these pests off before they get so big!
