Heres a picture of the setup deansie, its a bit make shift but i have a 4ft fish tank i will move them into once theyve settled but im waiting for some acrylic to arrive to make the platforms in it.

It not a great photo but this is how they have left the fungus, the fungus on the left is the first one i added and the one on the right i added last night, theres a colour difference between the 2 will this be because the 2nd was in the little container for longer, they are adding leaves to both fungus's, its nothing to be concerned about is it

Best put something over the lid too mate you may find that condensation drips onto the fungus

Watch the condensation on the lid directly above the fungus doesnt drip onto it. That could be bad.

I have put a heat mat on top of the lid above the fungus.

Won't that cause dry heat?

Just put a peice of plastic it something over the fungus so that any water land on that instead of into the fungus, then it should be fine.

Dale you can't just place a heat mat on top as it will force the condensation down if the heat mat is producing a temperature higher than is coming of the water. You can use a heat mat on the lid over the fungus if you have another thermostat. You would place the probe near the mat and set it a few degrees lower than the temperature the unit is currently sitting at, this will remove the condensation but not the humidity.
The other option is getting an oversized lid that you can place over the garden and raise at one side so when the water drops it runs off, would have to cover the whole fungus box when raised. I had to do this when I had Andrew's colonys over Christmas, cut up all my wife's chopping boards. Andrew you still owe my wife chopping boards!
