Trinidad March 2018, strong colonies and pic of them in ant room

The colonies I brought back from Trinidad in March look fantastic. The day after I returned was Che's first day and so he was flung in at the deep end!! A week later they were looking fantastic!





and this is a picture of some of them in one of the big units. These areas are heated and humidified only by a 200W aquarium heater in the water which also acts as excape prevention. We have used this design for 20 years and for us, on a commercial scale, it is the only way to keep large numbers safely and securely.
