Can you list the adjustments you have made Daubz, so we know exactly.
You can still pull this around, if you don't want to plug the heat mat try the plastic tub first and cover the vent.

Don't worry Daubz We'll get you through this! I've wanted you to have Leafcutters for 6 months! We'll make it work! I could harvest some fungi from my colony worst case but let's get yours on the bounce back.

Re: Daubz Atta cephalotes
The one day you want to get home early you have to work late. Right i now have a new thermometer in the pod on the clay balls at the bottom of the cylinder, I have taken the heat mat out and im using the heat cable round the incubator and underneath the tank. The thermometer is reading 24.5°c and 99%. There is a little bit of mist on the lid but nothing to worry about. Im doing my wifes head in because i keep running up stairs to make sure the temperature is holding.
ants i keep:-
Atta cephalotes
Polyrhachis dives
Camponotus cruentatus
Camponotus ligniperdus
Camponotus barbaricus

What Dean just said! My lids are steamed up like the car on Titanic! I don't get dripping issues but if I thought it got bad i'd take the cover off the vent and lift the lid back to allow run off to the rear! I would say keep that vent covered!
keep us in the loop! xx

Fish tank set ups are pretty bullet proof, it's really up to you. Have they added to the fungus?Daubz1977 wrote:Im still pretty tempted to set up the fish tank set up and run it and see which has the better conditions, Im going to leave them where they are for now, i just want to see.

I cant tell if they've added to the fungus i didnt want to disturb them to much but for a couple of days the queen was sat at the side of the fungus, shes back o the fungus now ad the workers seem to be busier than they have been, i hope im not just being overly optimistic but things seem better, just want to see them adding to the fungus and i will be happy.
