Daubs, any chance you you get an overall pic of the fumgus ? So we could see all the new gRoth?

Yes they are starting on the second garden, I see. Good activity, nice numbers. Well done on the intro of the bigger ants. I have replicated this and it works. Nice add to the collective there!
We should see the fungus start to rise upwards soon as the ants build on it.
Do you have a probe from a humidity meter. If so this should be right where the fungus is.

there is a probe mate, i removed it when i took the photos and then put it back once id taken the photos. They have started building the fungus up already, it just doesnt show that well in the photos.

there all doing well mate, my polyrhachis are still eating me out of house and home, but im still thinking of giving away my non tropical species, i dont really want to but i think i may struggle with hibernating them because im going to be heating my loft.
