I will try the boiling tube first, but I may have an old external fluval filter in the shed if the boiling tube fails, I will just need new media.

Firstly, I take no responsibility for the abuse from your wife. Mine was only to do the deed, I think Jamies....

was more to blame if you want my opinion. I think you should give her the keyboard and Jamies PM page and let her go at him. He's always causing this kind of trouble on here.
Ive blamed both of you, Andrew for the idea and Jamie for the pier pressure, cant see this making any difference on her opinion of me at the moment though, may have been more likely to get away with this if she wasnt pregnant and a bit psycho at the moment.

Its a bit weird i have moisture building up on the inside of the main tank and moisture building up on the outside of the fungus garden tank, there seems to be no build up of moisture inside the fungus garden tank and its at 99% and 24.5°c.

Theyve been busy today not a lot of leaves have been cut but they have dug a trench in the soil all the way around the fungus, is this good or is it a sign something isnt right?

Condensation will always build up one the sides of the aquarium in this type of set up. The fungus tanks temps won't be high enough to fend of the humid air either.

Just wanting someone to put my mind at ease, They don't seem to be cutting leaves as much at the moment they are definately adding leaves but they seem to be taking the leave inside and not adding to the outside of the fungus, they have dug a ditch all the way around the fungus and they seem to be building a wall of dirt around it now as well, the humidity is switching from 99%-100% and the temperature is 24.1°c-24.7°c.

If there is enough soil they will completely enclose the fungus probably. My first Atta colony did this, have you maybe thought about doing the initial fungus units with soil then progressing to soiless? Would give them the best possible start. Just an idea,
